From manual packing to mobile packaging lines
When a printing company like Kailow suddenly receives a large order for printing of a magazine a lot of paper is going through the flow quickly. 
This was the reason for the investment in 2 mobile boomerang packaging stations from SOCO SYSTEM.

The core of the packaging lines is a case sealer for simultaneously top and bottom sealing of cases. This feature is of particular interest for Kailow as they cannot use cases with automatically folded bottoms due to the weight of the contents.
This means that Kailow saves 2 manual handling processes per case with the SOCO SYSTEM case sealer.

Halving the packing time for volume orders – combined with high degree of ergonomics
According to Production Manager, Klaus Kailow, there were 2 essential arguments for the investment in the packaging lines: ”One important argument is ergonomics. The pallets used in the printing industry are probably among the heaviest in the market and manual handling of case sealing is not easy. The other argument is related to finances and flexibility in the delivery capacity. We have halved the packing time for volume orders for catalogues with the new packaging station from SOCO SYSTEM and the investment has, therefore, paid for itself a long time ago. In addition to this, it strengthens our competitiveness in the form of the shortest delivery times in the market”.

”One stop shopping” with financial benefits
The total investment per packaging station was less than DKK 50,000 – delivered, assembled, and put into operation - and it was, therefore, not a difficult decision for Kailow to  make the packing process more efficient and ergonomic. The system was delivered and in operation a few weeks later. The reason for their choice of supplier was, according to Klaus Kailow, SOCO SYSTEM’s total concept, Danish quality, and a convincing test first at SOCO SYSTEM and then at Kailow.
